Whether you came for the vicious vampires or the lighthearted escape to a more wholesome corner of comics, Vampironica is inventive, exciting, and always entertaining, surely making it one of the best new series of the year. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Dec 12, 2018

Vampironica opened stronger than it ended overall, I think, but it's a fun series as a whole and there's plenty to like with the finale. Veronica's facing off with her biggest fears is fun and it's wonderfully illustrated with great color design to pull it all together. I really enjoy the Archie Horror line of books and hope for more of them to come since there's some good things to work with here and a whole world of possibilities. Hopefully, the Smallwoods will get a chance to tackle another title down the line as well, with either more of this or something else fresh. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Dec 12, 2018

I unfortunately expected a bit more than what we got from the events of Vampironica #5. There was a lot they could have done to go out with a bang, and I hate to say that it felt like they played it safe with this story. For the most part this was still a thrilling twist to a version of Veronica that you would not see under different circumstances. I remain confident at the end of the day that I also look forward to what the future has in store for this Vampironica who still at the very least has a crossover story coming out next year. Sequential Planet - Marcus Orchard Dec 9, 2018

Overall, Vampironica is a satisfying ending to the arc, but it doesn't feel like it should end here. Hopefully, she gets another series, because it feels like the characters are just finding their place in the Archie horror line. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Dec 14, 2018

Vampironica #5 is the end of the series, but then it is not. Somehow Vampironicais supposed to collide with Jughead: The Hunger later in 2019 in Jughead: The Hunger vs Vampironica. I won't spoil the ending to Vampironica but, I have no clue how that is going to happen? It does make me interested to see how they will make it work. Vampironica started off strong, but it kind of ends in a whimper. Vampironica #5 was okay, but it also could have been a lot better as well. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Nathan Koffler Dec 18, 2018

So once again, Vampironica falls short of it's potential and delivers a mediocre horror comic book. It was so close to being a fantastic issue, but my faith in Vampironica evaporated when I realized that this series is simply just a weak horror series. Read Full Review
