Issue one has set the stage perfectly not only for what's destined to be a fantastic series, but all the makings of what will be a highly desirable. and necessary, collected trade upon the miniseries' conclusion. With epic attention to detail in characters and scenery design, this book is more than enough for your visual palate. Bubblegun is yet another title Ill be jumping on the space bus to follow. If you enjoy a wild space crew full of colorful gun wielding babes, excellent attention to detail and out of this world covers then this comic is for you. The book is a lot of fun to read, the plot flows well enough and is nothing short of beautiful to look at. The only complaint that can be thought of at the moment would be that it may not be as friendly to new readers who aren't familiar with Bubble Gun's first run. But it isn't completely out of reach to new readers. The main plot isn't so dense, the how's and why's of what's going is spelled out. But character backstory and growth won't be as appreciated by new readers if they just jump into this blind. Read Full Review

This book has it all; kick ass characters, doomed romance; a possible turncoat; a secret weapon and of course an over top big bad in the shape of Mr Penny. What's not to like in this tech-punk laden world where even the thieves can be the good guys? Read Full Review
