The massive "Executive Extinction" crossover begins to tear apart the bounds of friendship and loyalty, as Lily, Orchid and Aster arrive in Tokyo on their final push to eliminate Mazutsu and end his cycle of bloodshed. However, the arrival of Executive Assistant Ivy has created a challenge for the girls' revenge plan, as her past reveals dark secrets which may lead to all of their demise!
The "Executive Extinction" has nearly reached its climactic end, and with this issue, the action has built to the boiling point. With only one issue remaining, this issue was a terrific set-up for the finale of this book's portion of the crossover. This issue had less action than the others, but the plot driven issue served its purpose for the series, and with issue #10 on its way next month, this has remained a fun series for the readers, and a very successful crossover. As penultimate issues goExecutive Assistant: Assassins #9 does exactly what it needs to in order to set the stage for the epic finale that's surely coming right around the corner, but it doesn't do much more than that. Recommended. Read Full Review
The story really isn't developing. I don't even understand Mazutsu. Sure he wants all these girls dead and he is an arms dealer, reason enough to kill him, but the comic never shows us why he wants these girls dead or his dealings. I would prefer more of a back story since I am suppose to hate this man, but at the moment I can see why he wants to kill the assassins. The story just isn't a story for me. It is a comic of half-naked woman poorly defending their womanhood. And every fight scene is like watching a bad lesbian porno (and this should NOT turn you on). Read Full Review
