If you're any kind of fan of Darkwing Duck, I encourage you to find this arc and give it a chance--whether as single issues, or (assuming imminent availability) at least grab the collected edition when that comes out. As in the past, my overall rating for this issue couldn't be contained simply by an average of the story and the art...it includes the overall experience of the story itself and what it suggests about the future of the series. The best part of all of this is where Brill leaves us at the end of the story. Let's just say there are some fantastic possibilities ahead, and I'm thrilled that Boom has opted to keep Darkwing around as an ongoing series. I liked about everything. My only minor quibble is we never do learn what happened to the guy who'd been wearing the Gizmo-Duck armor before. There are plotholes, of course, but it's a comic based on a cartoon, and I'm more than willing to, for once, sit back and just say 'Ok, that was fun.' Read Full Review
All in all, not too shabby. Oh, and did I mention we finally get an appearance of NegaDuck, too? Darkwing and the gang save the day, but it appears more evil is lurking in the shadows. Worth a look. Read Full Review
