As Seiji and Nicholas struggle with their living arrangement, the competition heats up.
Specifically, I like the character designs and the dialogue. I'm a huge fan of characters having depth and this is a comic that excels at it. As a bit of a side character, I love Bobby, especially their "vision". I hope to see more of them! Read the comic and see what I mean. I also like the extra at the end showing Nicholas poor report card and a bit more insight to what is going on behind the scenes. I am also very happy that the coach is a woman of color. Fence #2really is a brisk and well done piece of fiction that just so happens to ooze with personality from cover to cover. The creative team holds onto a sturdy concept that should draw in an audience with ease, as this second issue does more than a few things right for curious readers out there. Issue #1 did not wow me, yet it did hook me into wanting to read the next issue. Issue #2 has come, put its line in the water and before I knew it, I'm here looking at the hook contemplating. I'm definitely hooked enough for the next issue. We've got a great looking book with all the trimmings, with a story that I have a feeling, with time, will wow us all. This comic just needs time to mature and build up the drama and the action, of course. Come for the boys who fence, leave with more pretty boys who fence and what looks to be a new rivalry for the ages. Read Full Review
