Overall, this issue was a strong close for the arc and where the story goes next will surely be exciting. This series has had the task to build out a world beyond the main comic, however, I hope the story going forward gives Jace a more concrete end rather than spending too much time expanding the world. As a character, Jace is a great addition to the series, however, too much exploration with him as a vehicle may make him feel inconsequential over time. Read Full Review
The conclusion of The Butchers return is a complete send-off for Jace Boucher and his life post Aaron Slaughter. Brombal, Fuso, Muerto and the team create a finale filled with solid writing and strong art that leaves no question to the readers about why Jace has the nickname of The Butcher. House of Slaughter #15 is an issue that makes your heart sink. This is a horror story, and only some of the monsters are creatures. Human monsters are trickier and at least as dangerous as the other kind. Read Full Review
