Book of Slaughter #1
Dec 28, 2022 |
At $9.99 this issue may feel like a high price point compared to the typical single issues released. However, if youre a fan of the series, the new information presented signals what could come in the future and serves as a fascinating reference text. This issue expands the universe, and its a welcomed addition to the lore of the Order of St. George. |

The emphasis on discovery and refocusinginfused with more characters becoming involvedmakes this issue an enjoyable read after an epic blow out from last months issue. Furthermore, the back up story is well done in its narrative around Mr. Freeze. Fans of this run will definitely enjoy this issue as it sets the stage for what is coming next. |

Eve (2021): Children of the Moon #3
Dec 21, 2022 |
Eve: Children of the Moon #3 is a strong addition to the overarching story. While the pacing feels rushed, the payoff on new characters introduced feel like this story is still just beginning. |

Eve (2021): Children of the Moon #5
Feb 16, 2023 |
Eve #5 changes the expectations of what an ending should be in unique ways. Its a refreshing close to this arc and while it ducks to day giant to certain characters, I cant help but think theyll return. This story is likely far from over. |

Grim (2022) #6
Dec 14, 2022 |
This issue incorporated horror into a story that has felt suspenseful and is evident on the purpose of laying a foundation of whats to come. As new characters are introduced, the plot is given a moment to expand on the moving pieces and the conflict to come bring it all together. As an entry point, it would benefit readers to go back and explore issues 1-5, however, it is a story worth exploring. |

Grim #8 keeps up the momentum and fans of the series will be thrilled about the plot developments. This series has been consistent in its quality and the focus on world building is a nice addition. If youre new to the series, I highly recommend picking up volume which covers issues 1-5, and look for the back issues to get caught up. Now is a good time to jump in as I have a feeling this story can stay fresh for a while. |

House of Slaughter #13

House of Slaughter #13 is a great continuation in the latest arc and this issue felt stronger than the last. It may not be the best entry point for new fans, however, I highly recommend checking out the full series. The amount of intrigue and world building is great and manages to be thrilling in each issue. |

Issue #2 is the most fun I have had reading a comic in a while. This is not a slight against other stories out there, but a testament to Mosely carving out a place of its own. So put on your favorite loud music and pick up this issuethere's tech gods to take on. |

This issue continues the story and adds very little. Fans of this series are likely going to get frustrated as waiting a month for small movement feels like this story might read better in trade. |
