LEGENDARY'S MONSTERVERSE DEVASTATES THE DC UNIVERSE! Superman and Godzilla have gone head-to-head with devastating consequences in Metropolis as the Justice League scrambles to protect their homes from the monsters--Supergirl encounters Kong on Skull Island and Wonder Woman takes on Behemoth on Themyscira! Lost in the monster mayhem, though, are Lex Luthor and his Legion of Doom... what nefarious connection do they have to everything?
Intensity in a whole new level, one of the best series of this year. The story is building up to one of the biggest events I've seen on paper and I can't wait to see it, the creative team deserve all the plaudits for this one, a comic masterpiece. Read Full Review
This mini-series has been a very pleasant surprise with how simply well-executed it's been on every turn. There still feels like plenty of story left here as it seems like this will have to go a few more months to lose any momentum. Read Full Review
This is the crossover I did not know I needed, but I'm so glad it's here. Read Full Review
Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. King Kong #3 breaks continuity in an entertaining and action-packed way thats fun for all readers. Its the perfect What If that provides readers with strong character portrayals and team-ups that are sure to leave fans excited. Couple that with the wild possible cliffhanger with Superman, outstanding illustrations, and dynamic interplay between the different monsters, and fans get a surefire excuse to add this to their pull list. The cliffhanger dangling throughout the issue feels like a red herring. Yet fans need to remember that this is an Elseworlds story and that anything could happen. Let me know what you think, have a great week, and God Bless! Read Full Review

The mayhem continues as the monsters run wild in the DCU. Buccellato weaves in big action with emotions running high as hope takes a huge hit. The art team construct visuals that give this story the proper larger than life feel it deserves. If youre not picking this up on New Comic Book Day, youre really missing out! Read Full Review
Fun, but halfway through and the big showdown is still to come. Read Full Review
This is such a fun book giving me a crossover of properties I love and one that I never thought I'd see. So how could I not love it! Add to that an in charge leader Supergirl laying the smack down and what isn't to love. One thing that I have complained about in comics recently is that they aren't many that are fun. This comic is tons of fun. Read Full Review
Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #3 has many strengths and only one weakness for me. The art is consistent and beautiful, there are a ton of amazing characters, and there's enough mystery left to keep the series interesting for a few more issues. Read Full Review
Theres still a chance that the story could stick the landing so I wont rule out this series, however, this might be a monster sized feat to perform with the current state of things. Read Full Review
This book delivers more or less what it promises on the wrapper, and I think it's actually picking up a bit as it goes on with #3. Will it be successful in selling movie tickets to the movie in March? I don't know, but I trust that Buccaletto will give us a spread in here somewhere of Batman punching a Kaiju in the face, which will make it all worth it.
Michael Bay would be so proud of this issue. It’s set piece, after set piece, after set piece. And somehow Supergirl is in every scene spread out across multiple locations? She must travel the same way everyone in Westeros did during Game of Throne’s final two seasons. At it's core, this event is really just an excuse to see Justice League vs. Legendary’s Monster-Verse battle it out. The title (nearly) says it all. There’s still no real plot movement happening (unless you count the very last page), which this type of story doesn’t really need to do if the rest of the issues are as action-packed as this one. Though it would be nice to tie up some of the lingering plot threads introduced in the first issue.
Though there was a lot to like about this issue, I did have problems with it. First of all, where the hell is Aquaman? We have all of this occurring near the sea and we have a crustacean monster and he's nowhere in the picture? Meanwhile, Supergirl is everywhere. Her showing up to help Ollie seemed completely out of place. I enjoyed the team up with Billy, but her showing up out of nowhere on Skull Island was bad. I liked Batman's reaction to Superman's demise and taking him out of the picture was a good move.
