So theres a lack of contrast between the worlds. Thats not a HUGE problem so long as Rossmo and Johnson are able to deliver the heart of the drama to the page in a way thats going to feel strong enough to carry narrative momentum from one issue to the next in a ten-issue mini-series. In the first issue, Johnson drops the readers right into the middle of a very tense combat sort of a situation...and it can be difficult to get a st ring connection with the characters right away, but things are bound to settle-down with the premise fully revealed by the end of the first issue. The Moon Is Following Us #1 leaves me wanting to see more of these characters and I want them to succeed, but at the same time, a bit more world-building would have been nice to see. Maybe in future issues? Read Full Review

Great start all around, I already like the characters.
Great art and writing. Conceptually pretty similar to Cemetery Kids Don't Die from last year. Very well done, great characters, good environments. Daniel Warren Johnson just doesn't miss, this is no exception.
Awesome debut. Can't wait for issue #2!
Sort of unique take on a common premise...I'll be in for at least two more issues.
The Moon Is Following Us starts with an opening that immerses the reader into this sci-fi epic world of endless possibilities. Daniel Warren Johnson jumps right into the action with this story and does not find a moment to pause and elaborate what is going on, which works in favor for the issue 1's ending reveal. For you anime watchers think of Sword are online but with a wholesome family dynamic. Great first issue and can not wait for what else is in store for this title.
Pretty good. Fathers a pus though. Makes me think, "What if Neo didn't wanna kill"?
A bit of Matrix vibe here.
