Agreed my friend.
Jeff Lemire continues his monumental new creator-owned series, as Theresa enters the frightening memories of the dead, searching for peace for a desperate client of her late mother.
Liminal and lacking luminance beyond her darkest nightmares, the trance she's trapped in is unfortunately exactly where she needs to be.
However, Theresa's anger and unhealed past, combined with the revelation of magic being very real, will do more than muddy the waters, not to mention a dark figure trailing her from just beyond the light's edge...
Minor Arcana continues to be an enchanting and spellbinding story full of heart and mystery, and Issue #2 is sure to captivate readers. Read Full Review

Minor Arcana #2 is another solid entry in Jeff Lemire's latest creator-owned tale of small-town psychics and broken families. It can get over the top in some moments, but still manages to set a tone for the series that is unique and fresh. Read Full Review
Lemire delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals capture the surreal elements of the story as well as the intense drama between Theresa and her mother. Read Full Review
The magical mystery of Minor Arcana#2 deepens with a main character who refuses to accept her place in her town. The issue is over before you know it, but that's largely due to Lemire capturing your imagination and drawing you into his characters. Read Full Review
The lack of distinctive characters is what makes this world not be as fleshed out as the art style makes it look. Unfortunately, the story not clicking is something that makes this series one that I won't be reading monthly. Read Full Review
Unfortunately for me I resonate with this comic more than I really care to admit to friends and family. From the all seeing eye to the doors I get it on every single sumptuous level. Each panel is utter perfection and each and every thought is wonderful and brilliant. This for me is one of the best comics on the shelf right now and if its your thing then delve deep and look hard and try not to judge people like me as the difference between a gift and a curse isn't that far removed.......JM
This feels like a return to form from Lemire, his last run of books have been hit or miss. This nails the character drama in true Lemirian style and is encapsulated by a intriguing mystery.
I wasn't sure based on #1 but #2 brings form to everything. Must read.
Interesting to see the fortune teller's POV.
I have faith that this can be a classic Lemire, but the main character is very unlikable for now, and it does hinder some of my enjoyment.
Good issue. The 1st issue didn't do much for me, but #2 got me a little excited. So, yeah...
