Elliot is kidnapped and Dapple's sinister plan is in full effect. With imaginary friends from all around the world gathering together, mankind may finally lose the upper hand. IMAGINE agents, Terry and Dave, may not have the wits to save the day, but with the help of Elliot's mother and imaginary friend, they may just have a chance.
This series is undeniably one of the best series of the year. I can't believe that it will be ending next month. I'm not exactly sure that there is enough content to warrant an ongoing series, but so far, I have been so impressed with the potential that I see each month. Maybe four issues is enough. I definitely wouldn't want it to become one of those bloated series that runs out of gas after an arc or two, but somehow keeps holding on waiting for the next big story to hit. In a world based on the imagination, Bachan has created some of the most beautiful art in comics with this series. It's absolutely wonderful to see his new creations as you flip through the pages of each of these books and with issue #3 I even made a game out of creating voices in my head for each of these insanely original characters. This series would be beautiful even if it was black and white, but it's not. Ruth Redmond has literally brought this world to life with her amazing job on colors. With each page you can't help but feel a little like you're stepping into Oz for the first time. Every panel is as vivid as the next and it really creates some of my favorite art in all of comics.
