As the series approaches the highly anticipated conclusion, Tabitha and Ethan continue to struggle through their strained relationship and her inability to see his new body as anything but an imposter.
Meanwhile, Bennie and Wickstrom uncover more details in the drowning girl's case, and through a more esoteric form of interrogation, Bennie, discovers some devastating answers concerning the missing children...
This issue was good, again there were tons of flashbacks, going back in forth between the past and present. The colors again, are very nice and lots of great shading. Especially with the details in the art, for each different character. What makes this issue great, is that the stakes are continuing to be higher and higher. The very slow burn that is 'Lotus Land' #5 has drawn its mystery out about as long as possible. What is revealed is done so mostly in the imagery and subtext. But at the very least, by the end, everything is set up for a revealing finale. Read Full Review
