After paying the ultimate price to defeat the mad god, Marit Lage, Planeswalkers Ral Zarek, Kaya, and Vraska return to Ravnica... and the plane closes behind them!
Now a new stranded trio of Planeswalkers -- the combustible Chandra Nalaar, the monster tracker Garruk Wildspeaker, and a debuting, mysterious Planeswalker -- must find their way back to Ravnica! But even as they gain foes and friends in new corners of the Multiverse things are worse there than anyone could imagine... as they uncover the plot of an old enemy to manipulate aether on a scale never seen before!
A welcome return to Ravinca with a new exciting arc with new characters and new dangers. I am enjoying more and more being able to visually explore the MTG multiverse through the eyes of the creative team and long may it continue. Read Full Review

A fun messy issue that won't change your life, but will probably make you want to read more. Read Full Review
While uneven, the issue assembles an exciting cast of characters for further adventures. Plus, it's full of action that's exciting enough moment to moment to overlook the thin plot. Read Full Review
Overall this book is fine, and I'm sure that once they create a graphic novel, the parts I don't like won't be an issue. It would be cool if they later put in a battle that feels more like an MTG game. If you are into MTG, you should follow along with this story. It also has some Dungeons and Dragons feel to it, which is nice for D&D players like me. It would be interesting if they ever did a crossover with D&D too. I hope to see great things from this series and look for future comic books featuring Magic The Gathering. Read Full Review
