Monkeys Fighting Robots - Anthony Wendel
Feb 07, 2018This series just keeps getting better and better. This issue finds a way to raise the stakes higher than ever before and seems to be a better end for the first arc than issue #4 was thanks to the surprising way it concludes. Though not the ideal starting point it makes up for it by rewarding those who have been reading with a fantastic issue. Read Full Review

Feb 03, 2018No surprise,Mech Cadet Yu continues to be a great series and Mech Cadet Yu #6 is a great entry into its storyline. Pak continues to write a fantastic story with some wonderful characters. The art also continues to be stand-out and fantastic with a great eye for detail and character acting. This is absolutelyone of the greatest all-ages series in comic books and should not be missed. Fans will be shocked by the ending in issue #6 as the Cadet training academy will never be the same again after this most recent attack! Read Full Review

The GCRN - Daniel Clark
Feb 08, 2018The world of comics is better having Mech Cadet U in it. It is this consistent light and enjoyable read that never feels empty or disposable. Sure giant robots fighting giant aliens is pretty much automatically fun. Where Mech Cadet U excels is adding a lot of heart to that idea to make all the large than life action mean something. If you know anyone at any age that is looking for a new series to get into this is the ideal comic to point them towards. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Gustavo S Lodi
Feb 08, 2018Final Verdict: 4.9 - For a series as compelling and fresh as "Mech Cadet Yu" issue #6 is ultimately more about the noise. What could have been exciting sequences within the confines a more rounded entry, unfortunately ends up being too much ado about nothing, lacking on strong characters moments and believable danger. This is largely where the issue fails, despite a visually-grabbing art style and coloring that do their best to imbue interesting features. Read Full Review
