Melissa Flores and Simona Di Gianfelice have knocked out of the park once again with yet another excellent comic book in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #102. The reintroduction of Rita Repulsa as Mistress Vile and the statement she makes with her show of power against the Power Rangers and Lord Zedd was a sight to see. If you are a Power Rangers fan you do not want to miss out on what Flores and Gianfelice are cooking up with their run on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Read Full Review

'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' quickly sets the tone for this new era and sets the stakes for the Rangers and their new sort of allies, turning a familiar foe into an even more powerful threat than they've ever been. Energetic, colorful, fun, and powerful with an underlying beautiful darkness that helps the story hit even harder. Read Full Review

I'm amazed at how well Melissa Flores took the series over from Parrott and Groom and kept it going without missing a beat- it's at least as good as their runs and their runs were two of the best ongoing series from any publisher for the year. Great flashback showing how much heart Matt has and building up the emotion for his sacrifice at the end of the issue. I'm really excited to see where this goes.

Another exciting issue and it leaves one eager to see what will happen next. The old show was never this epic, and that's too bad. From what I hear Matt's story as the new Green Ranger is about to take another turn and should be quite interesting. This issue provided the second chapter of a story that seems to only now just be beginning.
