Get Your Comic On - Dave Jones Nov 22, 2023

I will keep saying this, The Darkest Hour is possibly the best event in comics at the moment an edge of the seat rush that keeps the hope in your heart burning but at the same time plants that doubt in your mind. Black uppercase lettering inhabits white dialogue balloons and colored narrative boxes. Melissa Flores doesnt stint on the dialogue. But thanks to letter size, line spacing, and contrast between print and backgrounds, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #114 is easy to read. Ed Dukeshires beautiful sound effects enhance the action. While some rangers get black dialogue balloons, Dark Specters words appear as red letters in puffy white clouds. Does that mean he's a thoughtful and contemplative guy? Thanks to Boom! Studios for providing a copy for review. Read Full Review

The ending alone drives up the hype for the next chapter in Darkest Hour. Read Full Review

The big question next for the Rangers is if they will be able to find the whereabouts of the Morphin Masters and if it really can be feasible to do that. Everything is on the line for the many different teams of rangers, and their chances of survival are becoming more and more slim. This creative team excels at creating a sense of fear as well as hope that the Power Rangers are able to win in this fight. Read Full Review
