David F. Walker is the writer of this epic mini-series. David has accomplished a magnificent job with this story up to this point and I can't wait for the next issue. It's just so good a real page-turner you just don't want the book to end. Be that as it may, David writes this in a way that it's an unforgettable story. I'm looking forward to the final two issues. This is mandatory reading for any Apes fan or anyone who wants to see a character become a villain. I relish the stories in the past as much as those in the present. This is beautifully told and handsomely illustrated. Check this out. Read Full Review

I like the chemistry that this history between Ursus and Dr. Zaius generates. And the memories of Ursus's wife also help to add dimension to his tortured soul.
