In the penultimate issue of the truly unique series where animation meets reality, the villainous showdown between The First, Oliver, his mother, and the other toons ensues!

Wachter delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I continue to love the visual style and the mixture of characters and action. Read Full Review
Uncanny Valley continues to be a celebration of the power of imagination and the creative spirit. Somehow it can evoke elements of nostalgia yet being completely based on original concepts. Sure the influences to other properties are there but most importantly it captures that freedom of storytelling of both the genre of animation and comic books. If you are a fan of either you would be doing yourself a disservice if you miss out on this series. Read Full Review
These Roger Rabbit (or Cool World, if you will) style mashups always grab my interest. This is a very interesting story, with the "real" characters not being the "heroes that save the day" per se, but the key to the villain's plans who must be saved. Of course, I can't wait to see how this wraps up but I'd love for this to continue after the next issue. A movie adaptation would also be really cool, if done right with hand drawn toons.
