Clive and the others can no longer deny the danger of the alien threat or the violence it's capable of. As they struggle to escape the alien targeting them and hope to survive long enough to find answers.
Anyway, the group, with the help of Susan's knowledge of the woods, decides to head to Upper Landing. The place is a hamlet and seems better than heading back to their own town for fear of leading the aliens to their homes. The whole issue revolves around this walk in the woods, which again sounds dull but isn't. I love just wondering into the trail with these guys. The dialogue is just as interesting as the story. With all the secrets Clive has about his past and all the drinking Susan does, it makes for a good pair. Plus you know they will find something on this journey. A young child, a man in shock after the murder of his friend, and a recluse writer with a nervous condition all look to Clive for their next move, but even he isn't sure what to do. It's interesting to watch as these characters are forced to get past their own fears and their own judgement of others in order to survive. It can't be easy for them, but they're finding out more about themselves, and this thing, then they ever would have known otherwise. It will be interesting to see how they work their way out of this and hopefully intact. Read Full Review
