Arkham Horror: The Terror at the End of Time #1 is an outstanding addition to the world of horror comics while adding to the lore of Arkham Horror as a whole. Cullen Bunn's story and Andrea Mutt's artwork create a comic that sets a high standard for what's to come in future installments. The dark horrors that lie inside this debut issue are just what I needed in a horror comic. Read Full Review

For a first issue, this book gives you enough to know whats going on but holds enough back to keep you wanting more. Its as strong of a #1 issue as one can have, and I look forward to future issues as this story goes forward. When the only negative that I can think of is that future issues have big shoes to fill, thats a good problem to have. Read Full Review

Mutti delivers amazing art that perfectly captures the dark atmosphere of the story and the world being created within it. I love the visual style and how it delivers on both the lush canvas of the world and the dark horrors below it. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Kevin Clark Aug 6, 2024

The story is loaded with atmosphere and feels like the best combination of a classic mystery story and one of H. P. Lovecraft's more terrifying tales. Read Full Review

Great cover, solid atmospheric interior art. The story is pretty much by the numbers Arkham Horror stuff for anyone that has played any of the games based on the Lovecraft mythos, but it was just intriguing enough to keep me entertained. The characterization needs more work in future issues to keep the leads from being standard tropes.

I'm not a big fan of the art and doesn't seem like Cullen Bunn gets the IP. This should be a party, like D&D, not just two characters. One should be mystic of some type as well. I have no idea where Jenny keeps pulling those barrettas from. The purses during that time were 5 inches long and very thin. We know nothing about her to even know why she carries them. The editor is also bad. In the diner scene, Jenny is sitting on one side of the booth and then teleports to the other. This is a very disappointing issue. I hope it gets better.
