In the aftermath of last issue's violence, the teens find themselves separated into two groups. Scared, injured, and bloody, they try to reunite and escape, but the danger is far from over. More strange creatures emerge from the shadows. It's the mall itself sending these monsters, and it wants to ensure none of its shoppers will ever leave . . .

    Dead Mall is moving at a deliciously slow pace that could easily stretch out for a delightfully agonizing few dozen issues. Cesare and Stoll wouldnt even have to add any characters to the ensemble. The dynamic between the conflict and the characters clearly draws a lot of inspiration from cheesy horror films, but a series like this could remain quite entertaining even if it ran the same plot out much longer than the traditional three-act Hollywood plot structure.     A solid follow-up to a strong first issue, Dead Mall #2 finds the group of teen trespassers regretting their decision to break into a not-so-abandoned mall. They story is strong, though the artwork is a little inconsistent and largely lacking on the monsters most readers are looking for in a series like this. Read Full Review
