"I'm ready for . . . [a] full-length comic with these characters."-Comic Book Resources
At the end of the day Juice Squeezers #2 is a good read, but to get to know the characters better I suggest that the first issue also be read. Lapham has created a group of kids that are immediately likable. This is such a strong story and, as much as I hate to say this because comics are fantastic in their own right, I could totally see this working on film. This is a comic book that you could hand to any reader, new or old, spandex fan or not, and they will find it hard to not hook into the Juice Squeezers. Read Full Review

The awkwardness of new kids at school, boys liking girls for the first time and the mystery of gigantic insects are all very enticing plot points David Lapham excels at exploring here. This series just screams out fun and adventure. Its not too graphic that I would hide it from young readers which are a grand achievement in itself. I look forward to seeing who will win the bugs or the tweens as well as those of us enjoying The Juice Squeezers. Read Full Review
