The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally
Jul 15, 2026Dastmalchian and Kilpatrick craft a dark, engaging and thrilling story in this first issue. One of the things that draws me into a story is world building and this first issue creates an interesting and unique world that I want to see explored. I like the mystery of the world itself and how the factions deal with the limitations of their power. Through a mix of the writing and artwork, the main character is easy to relate to and the scares are aplenty. The combination of grim landscapes, expressive characters, and imaginative monster designs makes the world feel fully realized even when the writing is still holding back information. Lee’s visuals give readers enough to grab onto and make the setting feel dangerous, weird, and exciting.
