After an exorcism gone wrong, down-on-his-luck schlub Stanley finds he's retained all of the demon's supernatural abilities and begins to use his new powers to build a cult. Meanwhile, he finds himself hunted down by the legions of Hell and demons wanting to reclaim Stanley's newfound powers.
The first issue was already a great start to the story, but this one makes this miniseries a must-read. I'm super excited to see what will happen on the next issues, especially since so many interesting storylines were introduced in this issue. Read Full Review

I really liked the opening installment of this series and this one carries things forward well without it picking up exactly where we left off. Stanley isn't the type to worry and confuse himself over what he should do but is instead the rare character with determination and intent, which is a dangerous combination even without demonic powers. Watching him grow here is definitely a lot of fun to watch because it reinforces just how dangerous he is and the way his plans are coming together – and the obstacles that are starting to appear. Bunn's script is solid as always, economical where it needs to be, while Galan's artwork is a delight in the variety to the character designs and the general visuals for all things demonic. Lucky Devil #2 is a wonderful second issue for this mini-series. It rev's up the main thrust of the story and starts to bring some tension into the series. Stanley is doing some wild things with his power and garnering attention from all the wrong people. If you are like me and like your horror with a little fun then you should be reading Lucky Devil. Lucky Devil 2 continues it’s excellent delivery of storytelling, pacing, art, and devilish fun. We catch up with Stanley as he’s settled into his newly found demonic powers. With these powers and confidence he’s never felt before he’s not wasting any time as he moves to build his cult or “church” as he calls it. He’s not alone anymore as a new lady is now by his side believing in his newfound purpose. What is this purpose you may ask? Well, it’s making sure that those that have been overlooked, thought of as insignificant, and made to feel small turn the tables in the “celestial tug-of-war” between Heaven and Hell as Stanley puts it.
