The only thing that stops me from recommending Minor Threats: The Last Devil Left Standing #1 without reservation is the fact that it is best appreciated by established fans. So if you haven't read it, go pick up the first trade. Start at the beginning. Savor it all as you build up to this point. Another dark and twisted story from the world of Minor Threats. Organized crime, insanely unique super powers, ex-lovers who never got closure, and a group of misfits who don't stand a chance. What's not to love? Issue 1 looks to be setting up a serious plot, while still staying true to the humor, and filth, with a sprinkle of meta, that I've come to love from these comics.
