Intent on bringing the City of the Damned down, R.I.P.D. officers Roy Pulsipher and Crispin Mather fight their way to the citys heart, but as its secrets unravel, so too does their partnershipcreating a rift that threatens their mission and an outcome that still reverberates a hundred years later.
I really hope that Barlow and Parker team up on another R.I.P.D. series and if not then something else at the very least. They work very well together and both of them improve each other’s role in making the comic. Barlow’s writing gives Parker plenty to work with and Parker’s art makes Barlow’s story look great. The way the issue ties back to the opening scenes of the first installment gives full contentment to the consumers in regards to the gratification readers will feel as they finish the series, but leaves a big question unanswered in the end. Whether or not its going to be elaborated on in the upcoming film, its hard to say and you'll have to wait until summer to find out. Read Full Review
With the end of this series, readers both old and new should be satisfied with this precursor to the upcoming film. With solid efforts from everyone involved, this series went off without too many missteps, and with the conclusive issue, set up the events of the film pretty well. Read Full Review
