Comic Bastards - Nina Bird Nov 11, 2015

I'm thoroughly enjoying Zodiac Starforce. This comic is fun, bright, and colorful, both in terms of visuals and plot. The characters are entertaining and diverse, the friendships feel real, and the superpowered zodiac aspect is just so cool and badass. This is a really fun story, but it's not all rainbows and happy vibes- there's plenty of action, dark threats, emotional tension, and monsters to balance out the cheery colors. Zodiac Starforce has a touch of everything, and it all blends together to create a truly exciting story. Read Full Review

Zodiac Starforce #3 gives us a great set up"the surprise twist of Diana's past, Emma's unknown illness getting worse, and the team learning how to function as their leader is taken"as we head toward the conclusion in the next issue. The talented creative team of Panetta and Ganucheau never disappoint; they're so good at escalating the story (and our emotions) that you know they have just as much love and enthusiasm for their work as we do delighting over every single page of it. Zodiac Starforce #3 is exactly what it needs to be and a bit more. The creative team takes what could have been an easy enough arc to convey and adds to layers to it without losing the core strength that has kept this cast together thus far. Read Full Review

The Rainbow Hub - Logan Dalton Nov 11, 2015

Zodiac Starforce #3 adds depth to its Big Bad, Diana, and balances fun and darkness with the introduction of the High School Detective Club. And Paulina Ganucheau's character design, fight choreography, and vibrant color palette without a black or grey in sight continues to impress and make the book literally beam. Read Full Review

    Nerdophiles - Kylee Sills Nov 16, 2015

Artist Paulina Ganucheau continues to bring bright pops of color and diversity to Zodiac Starforce even as the storytelling takes a turn for the dark, as well as showcasing her prowess with Magical Girl battle scenes. The interactions amongst the characters feel real and grounded, making this series one I wish was around to give my teenage self. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Nov 11, 2015

Zodiac Starforce is concluding in the next installment (this arc? this miniseries?) but there's going to be more to come in the future. What we get here is pretty strong overall as we get lots of character material, some basic exposition and character setting pieces and a sense of proper homage and love to the origins of so much of this in anime and manga. The result is a book that doesn't delve into fluff or filler but hits the big points and runs with them. Panetta handles this well while Ganucheau translates it perfectly to the page, giving us a colorful and energetic incarnation that feels like a love letter with a twist on what's come before. I'm curious to see how it'll end and where it'll go after all of this though. Read Full Review
