So the only Aquaman comics I've read a couple years back were in the DC Showcase Volumes, so that was real silver age stuff. I watched Aquaman with Jason Mamoa tonight for the millionth time on a 4k Blu-ray though for the first time and loved it even more. I recall reading the silver age comics because of the Aquaman movie I watched on Blu-ray at that time.
Tonight I absolutely was immersed in the films bombastic unapologetically over the top world. A far cry from the themes and seriousness of the Snyder films since this was directed by James Wan but honestly I'm happy this turned out this way. The Aquaman movie is great and Momoa looked fantastic and every shot by Wan is spectacular. The use of the water effects and the overall more
