The only thing that's disappointing about Batman and Robin #22 is that Tomasi and Gleason will not be returning next month. The dynamic duo is taking a break from the series for a few issues to let Judd Winick and Guillem March come in and tell a Red Hood story. I can say without hesitation that they will be missed. So what's next? Hopefully with time Tomasi and Gleason will grow into the title. Of course, it's only an assumption at this point that Tomasi and Gleason are still scheduled to be the regular creative team, as originally announced. "Batman and Robin" #23-25 is running a story by Judd Winick, Guillem March, and Greg Tocchini, so it's anyone's guess at this point what lies ahead for "Batman and Robin." Maybe they'll be back, maybe "Batman and Robin" is the new "Batman Confidential" (which of course was the new "Legends of the Dark Knight"). For now, based strictly on their "Green Lantern Corps" work, I'm hoping Tomasi and Gleason will return with a more distinctive take on the title. For now, though, this is a comic that is perfectly fine, but still in danger of getting lost in the shuffle. Read Full Review
A pretty good Gotham offering that the fans can enjoy. I don't think it's going to draw in new readers or transform the mythos, but I'm eager to see this creative team's offering next issue. Read Full Review
Great first arc with an interesting villain and excellent characterisation. A promising start for Tomasi and Gleason run on Batman and Robin.
Now I’m very excited to read the rest of their run.
Meh. Gleason’s art takes a dip in quality and the White Knight is just not a character I care about at all
