For those who haven't read these iconic runs, there's also a chapter of the Scott Snyder/Greg Capullo Batman run, the Greg Rucka/J.H. Next up is a Steve Orlando story, "Puppets.” Nightwing must save the son of his parent's killer from Scarface and the Ventriloquist. The real focus, though, is in Grayson's head. Will he see the face of the source of his trauma when he sees him, or can he remove the burden of a father's sins from the son? It's a solid story but the runaway moment was an onomatopoeia. As a starter kit, this is a good place for new fans to start with a nice collection of reprints and a nice entryway for readers interested in Batman and Nightwing with the new stories. This is also a reminder that even though there aren't that many new comics right now, there is a treasure trove of older titles to pick up and read like it's new again. Read Full Review
