The Bottom Line:I've said before, this book is just pure fun. It won't blow anyone away, but it has consistently been enjoyable from issue #1 to #13. David is a fun character, and he's put into nothing but new situations (minus the Court of Owls tie in) which remains true to this issue. Read Full Review

Batwing is still good stuff. One hopes it doesn't fall by the wayside due to lack of attention. Read Full Review

I immensely enjoy what Winnick and DC are trying to do with Batwing. In a few senses, they're mirroring Bruce Wayne as if he were born in Africa. Parents dying, brother turning into a bad guy, kindly old man who took him in when he was orphaned, and now helps him fight crime. It's a great concept that could be more attention grabbing. But the book went by so quickly and is so disposable that I can't recommend it. It's not one of the worst issues in the series' history, not by a long shot. But it's definitely the most forgettable. I also wonder when Judd Winick will be leaving the title and who will take it over. He told Newsarama last month that he would be leaving and there has yet to be any announcement on a replacement. Maybe Batwing won't survive the 4th wave of titles? Read Full Review
