Three of the Blackhawks are incapacitated with injuries, and two more are stranded in outer space! The team has suffered a serious beating, but they still have one more crazy, hail Mary stunt up their sleeve as our first story is brought to its explosive conclusion by Mike Costa and new fan-favorite artist CAFU!
While tempted to give the issue a slightly higher grade based on gut instinct alone, I'm going to apply some caution and say only that this is a very solid series, with strong writing and powerful art, and deserves attention. Read Full Review
This makes its pending cancellation that much more unfortunate. Blackhawks is ending at issue #8. It looks like one story arc is all we are going to get. If issue #5 is any indicator, Costa's Blackhawks run will read great collected. Read Full Review
