    While I was more than content when the original Bloodlines crossover series ended, the conclusion of the miniseries simply left me wanting more. Fortunately, the end does have a group of the new heroes heading to Metropolis, hoping to get help before they also fall under the control of the parasites inhabiting them.     Someone told the creative team of Bloodlines that there wasn't enough gore in it, and they were like, "Really? Okay," and made the next issue much bloodier. Then they heard there still wasn't enough gore, and they said, "Are you sure? If you say so," and made the next issue that much bloodier. Then the creative team overheard someone say that even now, there still wasn't enough gore, so the team figured that's it, we have one more issue, let's spray veins everywhere. And that's when they learned that what they'd overheard all along was Dan Didio complaining about his pus-filled canker sore. Read Full Review

    It's hard to care about anything in this issue as not enough was established or earned to allow the reader to care much at all. If this series set out to establish this series of characters it has succeeded in establishing their powers yet barely scratched the surface of their characters. The entire series felt rushed or half baked, like a halfway decent CW show that ultimately served no purpose. Read Full Review
