This is a super dumb comment. Lobo will never go away. He's firmly established. No matter how bad the stories are. New 52 Lobo couldn't kill Lobo off, so neither will this.

We are halfway through an eight-issue mini, so why does it feel like we have barely gotten started? If I didn't like Crush before, I'm starting to like how she's reacting to everything. It's almost slapsticky in how ridiculous the situations get. Plus, Crush does it all with a purpose in mind. She knows enough on how to take advantage of a situation and present it in such a crazy enough way to work. Not that it makes her situation any easier, but it raises the stakes by a bit because Lobo's going to be one big challenge and she's going to have to pull out all of the stops.

This is a good issue, but not much happens. Tamaki writes an engaging story, but I'm not sure we needed eight issues here.

Not a big fan of Mariko Tamaki but I liked this issue. Great art, and I like how the story is progressing and Crush is going to confront Lobo.
