Comic Book Revolution - Rokk Krinn May 1, 2008

DC Universe #0 did its job with me. The purpose of this issue was to get the reader excited about various titles and upcoming story arcs. And, for the most part, DC has piqued my interest about the various story arcs headed our way. And most importantly, DC got me psyched for Final Crisis. And that was necessary since Countdown to Final Crisis pretty much killed much of my interest in Morrison's grand event. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Timothy Callahan Apr 30, 2008

Yes, it's a meaningless comic book on its own, but it establishes the players for the cosmic game which will soon occur. It's exactly what "Countdown" failed to be, and at fifty cents, how can you pass it up? Read Full Review

I suppose I shouldn't expect a wholly original work for a mere four bits, but that initial feeling that I'd been cheated scratched at the back of my mind even after I'd finished reading and decided otherwise. Libra and the Secret Society: they're nothing next to Darkseid. As always. Jury still out.So, basically, I read at least two of the Trinity already (and Superman when the Legion shows up), I don't care about Hal Jordan, and I'll give Final Crisis a shot mostly for J.G. Jones. Would I have done all those things before reading this issue? Yes. Read Full Review

It's hard to feel ripped off by a comic that costs 50, but this comic succeeds at that task. Read Full Review

After hearing from several readers who told me that the "preview pages" in DC Universe 0 are not excerpted from their respective series, I wrote an addendum to my review that I have posted on the message boards.
