Paul Dini's writes up a fun Batman story and even throws in a couple of laugh out loud moments for good measure. Batman's foes can be a little on the ridiculous side and it's perfectly illustrated that he doesn't take a lot of them seriously. This story is self-contained which more than welcomed. As with most of Dini's Detective issues, the characters and story are extremely well written, but the whole thing can feel a bit too brisk and inconsequential. Artist Dustin Nguyen has a lot of fun breathing life into these colorful, goofy villains, but his over-the-top approach – though amusing – only underlines the fact that Batman will have no trouble making mincemeat out of these idiots. As far as similar types of stories go, you can put this one-shot on the bottom of the pile of Dini's other works. Read Full Review
