  Establishing Adora as a legitimate threat is a nice way to start this series off. With Skeletor out of the picture and Hordak on the horizon, it's a great way to give MoTU fans something they've never really seen before, even if we know how it all plays out in the end.   So… is it worth picking up? I think so. Issue 1 had great work by Mhan, but it seems to be lacking here. The story, though, is going strong and if you read the miniseries you'll see the revelation of who Skeletor actually is to He-Man, which is touched upon here. It's definitely worth the read for fans of the franchise, but I would say you do need to be familiar with the franchise to like this issue as a standalone one, but reading the miniseries and how it's been relaunched is almost a must. We'll see what happens at the conclusion of this first arc, but I'm hopeful that the series will continue! Read Full Review
