Weekly Comic Book Review - Ben Berger Aug 5, 2008

The worst part of this series is that it's ending. Lord knows Arkham has more crazies who could benefit from a Joker's Asylum run. A weekly comic with such high quality is certainly rare, and that alone should warrant a purchase. I would have preferred to read this issue much earlier in the series, but I'm glad DC saved the best for last. It's definitely overtaken The Penguin story as my favorite issue. Read Full Review

The art is handled by Andy Clarke, who's no stranger to the Harvey Dent character after drawing "Face to Face," the "One Year Later" story that brought the character back to his roots as Two-Face. Hunt's relatively simple, straight-to-the-point approach works well throughout most of the issue, but falls far short when it comes to depicting the Joker. It's too bad DC only gave Joker's Asylum five issues to cover the top Batman villains, as DC could have continued this series with every one of Arkham's inmates. These tales are not your kid friendly Batman tales, but ones to really disturb the reader, and I think this final issue did just that. This was the most intense of the Joker's Asylum tales (even more intense than Poison Ivy chopping a guy to death), and earns Joker's Asylum: Two-Face 4 out of 5 Stars. Read Full Review
