A FOREVER EVIL tie-in! There is now only one final obstacle John Constantine's ragtag team must vanquish...and its name is Blight! Continued from this month's CONSTANTINE #10!
This is a book I picked up because of the tie in, but I'll continue with it for as long as this creative team does. Just based on the few issues from Forever Evil alone this book has crept into my top 3 favorites from DC. It's a look at the other side of the coin as far as heroes go. While Bats and Supes are saving the world from the threats we see, the JLD is saving us from the things we don't, and you can bet your ass I'll be there reading and enjoying every last bit of it!5 out of 5 nerds Read Full Review
This is a great book, and everybody concerned deserves a hearty pat on their backs for the efforts they put in here. Great stuff really, the end of something, but the beginning of something as well. That's how you write comics, and this one has been written extremely well. Read Full Review
The issue ends on an amazing cliffhanger that finally shows where the rest of the original Justice League Dark is. Zatanna, Madame Xanadu, Black Orchid and Frankenstein have been missing since the events of Justice League #23, which marked the end of Forever Evil, and we finally learn their fate. I loved that ending. Read Full Review
We're heading full-steam ahead into the conclusion, but I can't say that I'm losing interest one bit. In fact, I think it's going to last the perfect amount of time. It was certainly a slow burn ride, but it's been fun so far. I can't wait to see how John plans to save his friends. I can't wait to see who lives, who dies, and who forms the brand new Justice League Dark. Needless to say, this issue is a must-read for any fans of DC Comics, the main Forever Evil event, or just plain good old fashioned supernatural superhero comics. Read Full Review
This is an enjoyable book, and gives you the conclusion to the monster known as Blight, if they don't pull a switcheroo on us that is. The story still continues so don't worry about this being the final chapter. DeMatties has easily become one of my favorite writers since this story line started, and I can't get enough of the way he portrays these Dark characters. The only real gripe I have is I would of liked to have seen more of Pandora being the embodiment of light, as we saw her in her last issue. It seems like that was just a throwaway idea. But I love this new JLD, and I really want this team to continue, but I rarely get what I want, but we'll see. So run on out to your comic shop, and get yourself a copy. Read Full Review
