"Thy Kingdom Come" continues as Jakeem Thunder returns to the team! The JSA get in touch with more new members, including Lightning, the new Amazing Man and possibly the most important legacy member to date! Elsewhere, a face familiar to the KINGDOM COME Superman has his presence revealed.
In the end, this is still a good comic. It's just not a great JSA issue and I've come to expect better from this. Bendis doesn't use this much decompression and I think he practically invented that crap. Read Full Review
Justice Society of America #12 was a disappointing read. The past two issues have been slow boring reads. It is quite surprising considering that Justice Society of America was white hot starting with issue #1 and I considered this title one of DC's stronger comic books. Hopefully, Johns can focus his attention and finally get this Kingdom Come story arc moving with some purpose. Since nothing has happened in the past two issues, this is a good time to hop aboard this title just in time before the Kingdom Come story arc really gets going. Read Full Review
It's impossible not to feel like the quality of this new JSA title took a big hit when it crossed over with JLA so early in its existence, and I now feel like this Kingdom Come crossover is further harming the series' ability to tell compelling stories. Read Full Review
