Things really get interesting in the issue's back half. It's there that Simone dusts off a former staple of the team before dropping one of the series' best, cleverest cliff hangers to date. The development is classic Secret Six, and it promises to offer every bit of the double-crossing insanity that the series' debut arc delivered. Jim Calafiore again proves himself to a fine replacement for Nicola Scott, one capable of handling this book's wonderful mixture of violence, depravity and humor.
