This is the best comics has to offer " when comics can take something going on in the world today and inject some truth and generate conversation, it's incredible and amazing. With a straightforward idea in general at play here, it's the execution that causes it to suffer. The back and forth leaves me less than enamored and not being sure who is who at times adds to it – especially since characters don't use names all that often. It's a decent enough story and it's one that you can see Diana definitely taking an interest in, with it bringing back someone she connected with in years past, but as is the case with a title like this, it's very light on really making you feel the connection because of the space and the execution. Duce handles the art chores well and we get a decent look in general, but it's standard fare stuff in a way, competent to be sure, but without its own personality. Which is more noticeable in a series like this where so many artists have done some really standout non-standard artwork and designs. Read Full Review
