Doug Mahnke's Frankenstein is still a powerful visual, and his scenes involving the romanticism of the beast ring true. What doesn't ring true is Mahnke's Mars, which is inked too heavily and should really be sharper, more realistic to contrast the weirder elements. As it is things just blend together. Although I still don’t care for the Frankenstein character, I must admit that he’s super badass. I love the subtle tie ins to the other miniseries and Melmoth, along with Zatanna, May just be my favorite character in all of Seven Soldiers
