We are building to something big here. And we have a whole cast of characters that as readers you feel you know, care about. And that is going to make the eventual tragedy that will happen in this Crisis affect us as readers even more. I just hope it isn't a Nightwing death. The most exciting moment for me was seeing Batman get ambushed at an amusement park by what appeared to be Bruce Wayne from an alternate universe wearing Joker makeup. I can't wait to see what that's all about. I just hope that before it's all said and done that we get to see Smallville's interpretation of The Joker. If you were a fan of the TV show and haven't read the Season 11 comics, I implore you to do so. Or if you weren't a fan and are into alternate interpretations of characters and want something outside of New 52 continuity, this may be right up your alley. I can't recommend this book enough. Clark and Lex finally catch up with the Monitor (for all the good it does them) leaving that thread on a cliffhanger suggesting Lex Luthor might re-discover Superman's secret (but I wouldn't bet on it just yet). The Batman story also gets an unusual ending with the reveal of a Bat-Joker from another world who will no doubt cause trouble for Smallville's version of the Dynamic Duo in the next issue.
