Having read the entire James Robinson run. This issue in terms of comic book appreciation, must be seen as a sleeper. The story in its self is complete. The question asked of the masked men by their common foe is quite basic and is at the core of the masked vigilantes mode of operation. How this question is addressed by all the masked men collectively; is what I believe to be at the time of its printing, iconic. Most comic book readers in conversation with others; often ask the same question of the masked men but are not aware of this book, and how it depicts its answer back in 1995. Furthermore it is in my opinion; a mile stone issue for comics; it is as seminal a piece of work as Frank Miller’s four issue run of ‘Batman The Dark more
