I cant wait to see this saga collected in a trade. It is a real page turner, and having to wait for the next issue to arrive is a real pain. Superman #683 is so good, Im giving it Major Spoilers highest rating of 5 out of 5 Stars. Read Full Review
"New Krypton" is a huge missed opportunity, as far as I'm concerned. Though it's managed to work wonders or Supergirl, the rest of the cast seems worse for the experience. I have low expectations for the finale, and even lower expectations for what is to come afterward. 2008 was a terrific year for Supes, but I already worry 2009 will be anything but. Read Full Review
Like "The Sinestro Corps War," Geoff Johns has created a small crossover event in "New Krypton" that's mostly told within a few similarly-themed titles. It lacks some of the grandeur of "Sinestro Corps," but it's no less effective as a story structure. "New Krypton" may end by changing the status quo of the DC Universe, or the Kryptonians may just end up back inside a glorified mason jar, but no matter how it ends, a good Superman Family story is being told along the way.
