  A masterpiece. How this book isn't better known is beyond me. I near wept. Modern America disgusts me. This comic highlights that we need to work together to save our planet and the people that live in suffering. Unity. Togetherness. Helping our neighbours and fellow men and women. Conservative America has brainwashed people into thinking these ideas are signs of weakness or communist rhetoric. Your neighbour is not your enemy. The ultra wealthy that lord themselves over the rest of society are. If we could unify as a people, break the shackles of the rich and see that everyone is catered to and cared for, it can only be better than current society. We aren't even trying any more. This comic is a wake up call. We need to join together and lift each other up. We need to fight against extremist leaders. If you read this comic and feel nothing, you are broken. more

  I believe they are both stand-alone but I think they are similar in taking the essence of the character and showcasing it with Ross' talent.

  honestly one of the best superman stories of all time, if not the best superman story of all time. Beautiful art and a strong mature message on how /superman cant solve everything, and it is up to humanity to fix themselves.

  Hello my friend. Just got round to reading this. Wow. My favourite comic is All Star Superman. I've never read another Superman comic that I thought came close to that. Until this that is. I've just recently bought the Grant Morrison Batman Omnibus collection. As such, I searched if he has any new DC releases. He revealed he has a new DC project in the works and also expressed his adoration for Peace on Earth. I found it on ebay for next to nothing and just finished it. I am utterly stunned.

  Thanks Motorik! It always warms my heart and brightens my day when I see you write positive reviews and bash Gabe Hernandez haha. I did not know about Grant Morrison's future DC project so I'm excited. I want to ask you what is it about All Star Superman that makes it your favorite comic of all time.

  And if you want a good recommendation on an optimistic and hopeful Superman, I really liked Superman: All the Seasons. You should also check out Grant Morrison's Action Comics, or Geoff Johns,Joshua Williamson, and Peter J Tomasi's Superman runs when you have the time.
