The Scarecrow's new fear toxin has Gotham City too frightened to function! Batman and Mystery Inc. are able to put off the inevitable for a while as they investigate, but soon they fall victim as well--except for Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, who seem weirdly immune. It turns out that always being scared has some advantages, after all!
This issue doesn't have the critical component of a Scooby Doo story there's no real mystery to it but it does do a good job of incorporating the crew into a fairly classic Batman story with a lighter but still authentic Scarecrow. Read Full Review
Despite some of the art inconsistencies in this issue, The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #7 proves to be another fun issue. It shows the Scarecrow uniquely targeting each member of the Mystery Inc. gang with a different specific fear, and even allows Shaggy and Scooby a chance to shine as they help to thwart the Master of Fear. Fun read for the whole family, especially fans of Batman: The Animated Series, though if you are nitpicky about inconsistent design styles, you might not enjoy it as much. Read Full Review
The Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries #3.7 is definitely one of the better issues in the series' run. It's not the best issue we've gotten, but the story presents one of the more serious looks at crime-solving that we've seen overall in the comic's history. I would have rated the issue higher if the art style had been more consistent, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Hopefully the back half of this volume of The Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries continues to be of such high quality, whether in story, art or both. Read Full Review
There really isn't anything new I have to say here. No continuing plot to discuss and just overall thoughts of "it's fine seem to plague these reviews.
