Diana’s battle against the Duke of Deception leads her to a confrontation with the Greek pantheon!
This is one of those chapters that doesn't just transition into the next phase of the story of Wonder Woman, but lifts the veil from everything that's already happened. Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon continue to knock it out of the park here, working the digital format style in all the right ways. The book has a great flow about it as it brings all this information to light and we see what Zeus' larger plan is, which certainly fits in the context that we've seen from the gods before. It's a great looking book that adds a lot of context to everything as it prepares to move forward. Read Full Review
At first I felt a bit confused by the jumpy and jumbled beginning of the story- Diana has a vision of the Duke of Deception's dead brother, why I can't fathom; she meets with her dead mentor AND Zeus, only to denounce Zeus, relinquish her godly powered items and apparently live a mundane life amid the **SPOILERS** courtship of Steve Trevor?!?! Is this all a test from Zeus, or Aries, or the Duke of Deception? I don't know, all I do know is, I am do excited to see what happens next!!!!
