Comic Vine - G-Man
May 12, 2010A teeny tiny bit of me wondered if the destruction in the last issue was a gimmick. It almost felt like it was borderline. The action continues here and I don't know how things are going to end. Obviously there will be some resolution since this is the second issue of a four issue mini-series. I feel almost like anything goes. It's a great feeling and I love that a Superman story can be so fun and exciting. Read Full Review

Chuck's Comic Of The Day - Chuck
May 15, 2010Despite those (mostly minor) gripes, it's an action-packed story, and I'm convinced to add the rest of the issues in this series to my pull list. If nothing else, it's good to see Superman back in his proper costume, fighting the good fight. Read Full Review

Comics Bulletin - Michael Deeley

The Weekly Crisis - Ryan Schrodt
May 13, 2010This issue was very close to earning a Buy It verdict as well, but the lack of focus in this fartoo briskly paced issue drags it down. Much like Siege, we are getting a big picture look at a major conflict, despite the fact that it has a very personal significance to characters that are being written compellingly when they have do get a chance to shine. I try not to review comics based upon what they aren't, but I can't help but feel like this issue does not live up to its potential despite hints of exciting action and some engaging character work.
